Summary: The White Ladye 250 produces the plunky yet focused tone that's long been a standard for Old Time and folk music. This banjo features an accurate replica of the classic three-piece White Ladye tone ring, mated with a half-inch maple rim for maximum air chamber volume. The maple neck has a vintage heel design, a Fairbanks-style headstock shape, GT Master planetary tuners. Stylized cloud inlays adorn the bound ebony fretboard which terminates in a frailing scoop. The eleven-inch pot carries a Remo Weatherking head and dual coordinator rods for a solid neck fit and easy adjustments.
Body: Vintage style armrest, chrome plated hardware, 11" Remo Weatherking head, 11" White Ladye tailpiece, 11" 3-Ply Maple rim, White ABS binding.
Neck: Maple with an Ebony fingerboard, cloud inlays, 18 frets, 26 3/16” scale length, 1 3/16” nut width, string spikes on the 7th, 8th, and 9th frets.
Pickups/Hardware: GT Master planetary tuning keys, Maple/Ebony cap bridge, “C” style buttons, ZeroGlide nut.
Cosmetics: This banjo is in great shape. It has light surface scratches on the body and the drumhead shows a bit of wear from regular play. The frets are in great shape. The headstock has a few scuffs on the top/edges. The back of the neck is clean, smooth, and very comfortable.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
