Description

Summary: This Italian-made bass is a rare bird straight out of the 1960s with a fantastic and unique sound. The space-age inspired offset body sports a super cool cherry burst finish. This bass is in good shape & it comes with the original oddly shaped hard-shell case.

Body: Solid body double cutaway bass with a wonderful sunburst finish, brown pickguard, thumb-rest, one volume knobs & tons of switches.

Neck: Solid one-piece maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, 21 frets, original tuning keys, big white dot inlays. The scale length on this bass is 30.5” and the nut width is 1 7/16”.

Pickups/Hardware: 2 original single coil pickups, one volume knob, 7 switches that allow multiple tone configurations & combinations, chrome hardware, adjustable chrome bridge.

Cosmetics: Overall this bass is in good shape for its age. There are nicks & scratches consistent with a well-loved but played bass guitar from the 1960’s. There are scratches on the back & some scratching on the chrome as well, but overall it looks awesome & it sounds and plays great.

Playability: This is a fine playing bass guitar – the action is low & the instrument has been set up with flatwound strings. The frets are thin and they still have life left in them.

Modifications: There are two holes right below the neck pickup that looks like it may have had a finger rest there at some time, otherwise this baby looks to be original.

Weight: 8 lbs, 4 oz.

Case: Original hardshell Goya case
