In the 70's and 80's, there was a battle among Japanese guitar makers to copy Fender and Gibson guitars, and the 1977 Greco EG500, a copy of Gibson's Les Paul Standard, was made in the late 70's. The materials and specifications were faithfully reproduced to a high degree of perfection. It has a maple top and birch back body with a set neck construction, and a maple neck with excellent strength. This Les Paul standard copy model allows you to experience the body's resonance that can be obtained by playing the instrument for over 45 years. The guitar is not only old, but also very useful Japanese vintage guitar.
