Description

Here's a 1966 Gretsch Tennessean in Walnut finish. Clean, 100% original example. The serial dates it to September of 1966. No breaks or cracks. This is as good of a Tennessean from this era as it gets! The binding has the typical wear/deterioration in some spots, but it's all in tact. Outside of that, the body and neck are just about mint. The guitar plays beautifully, with low action down the fretboard. 1 11/16" nut width. The frets are in good shape as well. Both Hi-Lo 'Tron single-coil pickups sound great! Three controls (two volume on lower treble bout, one master volume on cutaway bout) plus two three-way selector switches on upper bass bout, and a three-way standby switch by the volume controls. The Bigsby is smooth and stays in tune. This one is ready to go. OHSC!
