1959 Gretsch 6120 Orange

Few artists are as associated with a single model guitar as Brian Setzer is with the Gretsch 6120. Brian's stellar guitar playing with the seminal Rockabilly revival band the Stray Cats, as well as his solo material with the Brian Setzer Orchestra has often relied on a "Filtertron" equipped 6120, and this very guitar was one such instrument in Brian's personal collection. The beautifully flamed maple body is one of the best figures we've seen on a '50s Gretsch, and the neck is set up to play up to the exacting standards of such an accomplished guitarist. This is a unique opportunity to own an instrument with incredible provenance that is also a phenomenal playing and sounding example. This guitar includes the beautiful white leather case with tooled leather belt outline, and an original leather Gretsch strap.
