Wow, what a beauty! These Gretsch guitars made in Japan in this era are beautifully made with no compromises.
This particular example is as clean as can be - likely cleaner than any you'd see on display as a new guitar in a music store. No issues whatsoever and few signs of handling.
The neck is on the thinner side, and the guitar sets up as low as you would want to go with no issues. It plays effortlessly.
The Dynasonic pickups are something that a lot of players haven't experienced, which is a crime. They have a really cool and different quality to them that fits many styles of music, like a P90 in a way, but with a voice like quality to them that I can't really express in a typed description. I'd encourage you to check out some you tube videos, or just trust me and add this different voice to your arsenal. It really opens some doors to get outside the standard offering!
