~2001 Gretsch 6120N Orange

Summary: This gorgeous new Nashville is guaranteed to make your mouth water! She features a beautiful, maple body with arched top and back finished in classic “Gretsch” orange. One of the first things you’ll notice when you set your eyes upon this beauty is the clean, deep cutaway – which allows full, easy access right up to the top of the fingerboard. The neck is 2-pc maple, fitted with an ebonized, rosewood fingerboard, humped block inlays, white celluloid binding and 22 smooth jumbo frets.
The 6120N is equipped with all of the classic Gretsch hardware and electronic furnishings including master volume, master tone, pickup selector switch, individual volume controls, dual FilterTron pickups, gold hardware, adjustamatic bridge and a Bigsby Vibrato! (Gretsch.com, 2001)

Body: This Gretsch has a 5-ply arched maple top and back, 7-ply maple sides, spruce non-feedback bracing system, 16″ wide, 1.7″ deep, Open bound oversized f-holes.

Neck: This guitar has a 2-pc rock maple neck, Ebonized rosewood fingerboard, White celluloid binding, humped block inlays on fingerboard, 1.7” nut width, bone nut, 24.6” scale length, and 22 jumbo frets.

Pickups/Hardware: This Gretsch has gold hardware, dual Filtertron pickups, master volume, master tone, 2 volume knobs, 3-way switch, cool original pickguard, Bigsby tremolo system and original Gretsch tuning keys.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in fabulous shape – there are some pick scratches on the pickguard & a few very small dings on the body. I found a few small scratches on the back of the neck but they don’t affect playability. The finish is so magnificent that it hides most of the flaws.

Playability: This instrument has been set up with a new set of 10’s and it plays easily up & down the fingerboard.
