1964 Gretsch 6122 Country Gentleman Walnut
Here's a 1964 Gretsch 6122 Country Gentleman. Lovely playing and sounding example! With the exception of the bridge and foam on the double mutes, everything else on the guitar is original. All the binding is in tact with rotting. And besides the crack repairs on the original pickguard, the rest of the guitar is crack/break/repair free. The neck has a comfortable feeling C profile, with low playing action down the fingerboard. The frets are in good shape and have life. The action is low, with good room in the bridge for future adjustments (truss rod works properly as well). The guitar sounds incredible, with a Super'Tron in the neck, and a Filter'Tron in the bridge. Both pickups are strong, with a ton of range between the two. The Bigsby vibrato works great too! Stays in tune after a lot of use. Acoustically the guitar is loud and resonant too. OHSC Included!
