1962 Gretsch Country Gentleman!
Highly desirable exact George Harrison-spec 1962 Gretsch Country Gentleman. Very difficult to find them this early. Double red felt mutes, stair-step Grover Imperial tuners, Walnut finish, gold hardware, ebony fingerboard, Bigsby, two Filtertron pickups. It's the George Harrison model in very nice original condition. It was with the same owner since 1975 and comes with the sales receipt from that time. One of the finest examples we've ever encountered!
Truly a great-playing guitar. It sounds great too. The condition is excellent overall with no binding deterioration (some small shrinkage) and just light wear here and there. These are rarely found in this condition. The mute pads have shrunk a bit and the plastic pickup surround has a small hairline as per usual. The guitar is a very nice and original example.
