Gretsch Vintage 1957 Corsair with Lifton Case Owned by Bernie LaPorte of The Happenings. Wow these are Rare. Expect plenty of cosmetic marks, but the instruments Structural Integrity is Spot On and that is what counts, We just did a setup with gauge 12 flat wounds. The truss rod is fully functional in a straight and true neck. The fret wire is low as used in the 50's and the fretboard (most likely Brazilian) has divots. I didn't notice any cracks or repaired cracks, so it is a survivor. The instrument has a beautifully grained Violin neck that plays very well across the register.
2 Tuner bushings have lifted and there is inlay wear.
