1959 Gretsch Country Club Sunburst Archtop Electric Filtertron Pickups and Original Case
Here is a wonderful example of a vintage 1959 Gretsch Country Club archtop electric. A particularly great playing example with a low action, perfect neck angle and superb playability.
Original Filtertron pickups are warm and strong and full of classic vintage Gretsch tone. Features nice and warm jazz tones and bright, cutting fingerpicking tones a la Chet Atkins, Tommy Emmanuel and similar artists. This is one of the early Filtertron models.
It's never had a neck reset and the neck angle is perfect. It's got a good low action and a straight neck.
The quality of vintage 1950s Gretsch's is far superior to later examples, and one can see that in this example. The binding is in good shape, and it is original. No cracking or deteriorating. There is some wear to the finish, normal for the age. The sunburst has a real nice flame to it.
An all original example perfect for the player and collector alike.

We use UPS ground for shipping. We can work out overnight shipping on a case by case basis. Buyer pays all shipping charges.

After 24 hours, no returns. Buyer assumes all shipping charges. If we agree to a return, as in an internet sale, instruments must be returned in the condition they were sent. Shipping costs will be deducted from the return, and buyer will assume these costs. If we accept a return there will also be a 5% re-stocking fee. All merchandise sold is in used - as is condition. All sales final. If there is an exception made on any return over 24 hours, there will be a 15% re-stocking fee to the customer. No returns whatsoever on guitar parts.
