This vintage 1963 Gretsch Model 6070 Hollowbody Bass is a real stunner that sounds and plays as great as she looks!!
Nice big fat headstock. Huge neck that feels great. Neck is straight and plays well all the way up and down with no buzz or issues.
Original filtertron pickup is super warm and sounds incredible.
Bass is completely original though it appears the binding may have been sealed. This is common on vintage Gretsch's as the bindings were not made of the best material. This one is in good shape.
Comes with vintage original gig bag, that fits this beast perfectly. It's in great shape and has been very well cared for, it appears it has been sitting in the closet all these years.
Comes with endpin stand that allows the player to stand the bass up on an extension pole for playing like an upright bass! Crazy cool...
