This Gretsch Princess was made in Brooklyn in 1962. The original pink finish has turned a creamsicle orange shade. The 1963 Gretsch catalog described this model as "The only guitar designed for the feminine guitarist". However, feminine guitarists of the day were not overly impressed and as a result these models are quite rare today. Essentially the princess is a corvette with a fancier finish and a backpad. This guitar was played extensively over the years and shows significant play wear but no structural damage. It is in all original condition and it comes with the original white strap. It has been pro-setup in our shop. It comes with a non original soft case.
