1955 Gretsch Synchromatic 100 model 6015 Natural, Very Good, Hard

1955 Gretsch Syncromatic 100 model 6015 is part of the Gretsch- American Orchestra series of Arctops. It features a carved spruce top, arched maple back and maple sides. The model 6015 represents natural finish. This is a terrific sounding and playing guitar.

This 6015 is in very good shape for its age. There are several dings and marks, nothing too serious. There appears to have been a strap button installed at one time on the upper bout next to the neck joint, and since plugged. (see pictures) There has been a strap button installed on the back of the neck at the neck joint. The machine heads are not original. At one point there was electronics added. There are two input jacks (1/4" along the lower bout and 2.5 mm jack under the pickguard.) There doesn't appear to be a pickup installed, the two jacks don't work. There is slight binding separation on both sides of the neck joint. Is the finish original??? It comes with a non-original hard case.”
