Vintage original circa 1985 Guild Blade Runner X-100 Bass. The 1980s are just seeping out of this cool bass, brings you back to the days of hair metal and glam as soon as you open the case, you can taste it!
A futuristic take on Gibson's Explorer with large cutouts, Joe Perry famously used the guitar version of this model in the Walk This Way video, that one was simply black. This example sports the cool futuristic Blade Runner graphics.
Features two P-Bass type pickups and one Jazz Bass type pickup in the bridge position. Active electronics which work great and the bass sounds super warm, fat and percussive. Lots of different tones, a very versatile instrument.
Neck is straight and it plays great all the way up and down without any buzz or issues with a good action.
There were only about 100 Blade Runners produced during a single year of production 1985-1985.
Bass is remarkably clean and completely original.
Perfect for the player and collector alike.
Comes with cool original hardshell case, too, which protects it very well.
