Probably because of its great big booming sound. These arch back dreadnoughts always have an amazing sound. This is a killer bluegrass rhythm guitar.
Specs! The neck is mahogany and measures .78″ in depth at the 1st and 1.04 depth at the 12th. The scale length is 25.5″. Rosewood fingerboard with a 12″ radius. The nut measures 1-11/16″. Original 20 frets. Spruce top with mahogany arched back and mahogany sides. Brown stain finish. Rosewood bridge with a bone saddle. Weighs 5 pounds and 2 ounces. Comes with its original hard shell case.
