1993 Guild D4-NT

Summary: The D4 was added to the Guild line in 1991 and was based on the D25. It features solid tonewoods, laminated arch back, Guilds hand rubbed satin finish and superior build quality. This Dreadnought style guitar was built in Westerly, Rhode Island and ships in its original hardshell case.

Body: It features a solid spruce top, solid mahogany sides, laminated arch mahogany back, hand rubbed satin finish, tortoise pickguard and w/b/w/b binding on top.

Neck: The neck is one piece mahogany with a morado fingerboard, 20 frets, pearl dots, 25 5/8” scale length and a 1 11/16” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: Nickel plated Grover tuning machines and a rosewood bridge.

Cosmetics: This guitar is all original and looks barely played. There are very few dings, dents or scratches on the whole guitar. There is one chip in the finish by the 9th fret and a finish crack by the heel-cap, most likely just from the wood shrinking back at a faster rate than the heel-cap. The frets are also in great shape with tons of life left in them.

Playability: This guitar plays and sounds great. It has a new set of 12s on it and the action is comfortable. The action is not super low but there is plenty of saddle left if you want to change the action.

Case: This wonderful Guild will ship in a TKL hard-shell case that is probably the original Guild case but I don’t see a Guild logo on it…..This case is black tolex with red plush interior.
