The Guild Jetstar ST embodies the ultimate retro vibe with a unique body shape that's been off the grid since the 1960s. In terms of style, this reissue remains faithful to the first iteration of the S-50 Jetstar, complete with a solidbody made of mahogany and a set neck. It's decorated in a gloss Vintage White finish, with a comfortable C-profile mahogany neck that shows off a pau ferro fingerboard — with period-correct mother-of-pearl inlays that match the pyramid logo on the scroll-shaped headstock.
The Guild LB-1 humbucker pickups installed produce a wicked vintage vibe, controlled by a master volume and a master tone control, along with a three-way toggle switch for a wide plethora of roaring '60s sounds. Switch from a sparkly clean single coil-esque spank to a thick and warm humbucker sound that fatten and sing when driven — rounded off by a Tune-O-Matic stoptail bridge.
