This vintage Guild S-100 Standard from 1971 plays and sounds great! This guitar has an SG body shape and the controls include a phase switch among 2 volume, 2 tone knobs, and a 3-way pickup selector.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and small finish chips throughout the body. There's also some finish wear along the back of the neck and additional dings on the headstock. The headstock face appears to be cloudy from over time and the pearl Guild logo and binding around the neck have also yellowed from over the years. The frets do have normal wear for their age but the strings still play well all throughout the fretboard overall.
The pickguard is likely to be replacement, otherwise this guitar appears to be original.
