Summary: This is a Japanese made Halifax Les Paul Custom Black Beauty with gold hardware. This instrument looks stunning and classic from across the room & the price tag will make anybody smile.

Body: Solid body single cutaway Les Paul style guitar with a wonderful black finish & nicely aged cream binding on the top & the back.

Neck: Thin profile bolt-on neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, 1 5/8” nut width, 24.75” scale length.

Pickups/Hardware: Nicely aged Gold hardware, 2 humbucker pickups, 2 volume knobs, 2 tone knobs, 3-way switch, and nice quality tune-o-matic bridge.

Cosmetics: This Halifax shows a lot of honest wear, normal pick scratches on the top, buckle rash on the back, and a few small dings in the body. There are lots of swirls in the finish if you hold it up in certain lighting. Overall this instrument seems like it was played a lot but never abused.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.
