Who buys vintage guitars? We do!
Call 530-570-1525 or email sales@maharsvintageguitars.com to sell your vintage guitar, bass, amplifier, etc - one piece or a collection! We are always ready to buy instruments, amps and effects from Fender, Gibson, Martin, Epiphone, Rickenbacker, Gretsch, Marshall, Vox and just about anything else related to musical instruments.
Hamer is still an if-you-know-you-know guitar maker. In all honesty, it took more than 20 years in the business for me to really figure out what these guitars are all about.
The legacy of Hamer was scuttled by Fender after they purchased the brand from Kaman Music in 2012, ending a heritage that goes back to 1973. The early Hamer guitars are rare, valuable masterpieces.
The Hamer Custom Shop continued to build legendary guitars and basses up to the early to mid 2000s. Several Hamer korina Vs and explorers from this period have crossed our path over the last few years - awesome stuff. This Artist Custom is of the same ilk.
The guitar is in beautiful condition and is made from the highest quality woods. It plays just like it looks and the sound lands somewhere between a Les Paul and a 335. It'll actually do those and more.
The weight is just over 7 pounds. There are no changes, repairs or issues. Set up was easy.
