This beautiful and faithful recreation of the famed late 1950's Korina Flying V was made by Hamer Guitars in the USA in 1997. This was part of a limited edition batch of 72 guitars and this particular one was number 27 of that batch made in 1997. These guitars are revered by collectors and players alike for being as close to a late 50's Flying V as possible without the million dollar price tag. Featuring gorgeous Korina neck and body wood construction and weighing 7 lbs 12 oz this guitar is lightweight and amazingly resonant and sports a super comfortable medium C neck profile that fills the hand very nicely. The guitar is all original including the Seymour Duncan JBL Bridge and 59NL Neck pickups both of which wound on the famed Lesona Winder purchased by Seymour Duncan from the original Gibson factory in Kalamazoo. The guitar shows signs of playing and age with some nicks and dings, most of which found down by the input jack horn but overall the guitar is in fantastic shape and has a wonderful patina. The guitar comes as shown with the original Hamer case but unfortunately the COA went missing long ago.
