1970 Harmony Buck Owens H-169 Red/White/ Blue

Here is a piece of Americana for you ! This is a 1970 USA made Harmony Buck Owens Acoustic . The original versions of these guitars were produced between 1969 to 1972 , Buck apparently wanted Gibson to produce them , but instead they contacted Harmony and the Buck Owens Acoustic was born . This one is in good shape , most vintage Harmony guitars need a neck reset , this one is getting close but can be played comfortably up to the 7th fret then the action gets a bit high , the neck, fingerboard and frets are in great shape , the headstock laminate is fully intact but is starting to delaminate. The top is Spruce with Birch back and sides . The guitar actually sounds really good with nice bottom end and clarity .
