Description

We've had a number of these mid-sixties Harmony 12-strings, and they never disappoint. Decent construction, truss-rod, bright, ringing sound, they're great value for the money. This one fits right in.
The body is constructed from solid birch, and the neck from poplar. The fingerboard is a tropical hardwood. All bindings are painted in white. Scale length is 24 1/4", and the fingerboard measures 1 15/16" across at the nut, and the neck has a flat 'C' profile. There appears to be no structural damage or cracks, and all parts, but for nut and saddle, are original.
We've replaced the plastic nut and saddle with bone, completed a neck reset, and leveled and dressed the frets. A short portion of the top was reglued where it came loose from the side. Pickguard missing (we like it better without). Some nicks and dings, but clean overall.
The guitar is well set up, and plays easily. The tone is rich and ringing. This is one of the nicer sounding of the bunch we've had. A really fun guitar to play ragtime and blues.
