~1970 Harptone B-4 Acoustic Bass Natural

C. 1970s Harptone B-4 acoustic bass in very good condition. This Harptone has two professionally repaired top cracks, one running from the bottom of the bridge to the edge of the lower bout, and one running from the soundhole to the top of the bridge. It has an internal pickup installed. The neck has a width of 1 11/16" at the nut, a depth of 0.78 ” at the first fret, and a depth of 1.02” at the ninth fret. The bass has a 30.5” scale and weighs 7.48 lbs. The body is quite large with a 13.5” wide upper bout, 18” wide lower bout, and a depth of 5 3/8”. A relatively rare acoustic bass with a cool sound that is really fun to play. Comes with the original hardshell case.
