Although it was resurrected in the 2000s, the individual produced from '77 to the early 1980s, which is called the "Showa Headway" by enthusiasts, has been very highly evaluated and prized.

The instrument is HF-415 of the 400 series (000-28), which was lined up in the latter half of '80, with all-by-plate specifications on spruce stop & rosewood side/back. Mahogany is used for neck, fingerboard and bridge are used for ebony. Herringbone pattern trim and so-called 'zigzag' back strip are applied, and a globe waffle back-style tuner (GP-5N) is equipped. Despite the 000-28 type, it features a round head and a guild-like pickguard.

X bracing is a non -carop X, which is a feature of the initial model, and has a bright tone combined with a thick plate thickness. The scallop bracing may not have the delicate, but it feels very solid and has a strong sound when it sounds. The neck grip is also a thick soft V shape, giving a solid grip.

The neck is straight and there is no body top deformation. The condition of the truss rod is good, the fret has a slightly dent (wear) under the 1-2 strings of the rooflet, but there is enough remaining, so it is not necessary to replace the fret. The current string height is about 2.5mm under the 6th string of 12 frets, and about 2.0mm under the first string. The rest of the saddle is about 2.0mm. In particular, no repair marks are seen, and there are traces and other small scratches using a bridge pins on the bridge, but considering the age, the overall appearance is maintained.
