Serial # C 26401 is a stunning 1986 Heritage Golden Eagle from the second year of production in near-mint condition. Top and back are both carved and give the guitar a fine acoustic sound and a warm amplified electric sound when the single neck pickup is dialed in. This is the Heritage version of the Gibson L-5C and was hand-crafted in Kalamazoo in the old Gibson factory by the four owners of the Heritage brand who chose to create their own guitars there rather than move to Nashville and start over with Gibson. The quality is tops and the guitar is very easy to play, and it was recently PLEked to optimize its acoustic archtop sound. A real value at a great price!
