This well-appointed Custom Golden Eagle- Sweet Sixteen archtop features a thoughtfully selected wood package that includes a premium spruce top and solid rim set with a high-grade Maple back. The top and back are lightened to increase the acoustic values and properly voice the instrument. The 5-piece curly maple and mahogany neck is hand-shaped to a slimmer 1960s feel.
A custom floating humbucker has been mounted to a beautifully bound maple pickguard with the volume knob discreetly placed on the pickguard for easy access.
No details were overlooked in the creation of this classic archtop, including specially sized f-holes with elaborate binding, mother of pearl and abalone inlay down the ebony fretboard, and wooden bridge insure proper intonation.
