The "KR Indigo" series plunger mute was jointly produced by Kenny Rampton, known as the trumpet player of "Jazz at Lincoln Center," and Hirschman, an American mute manufacturer.
The plunger mute has a large blue silhouette with a distinctive one-cent coin handle. The plunger is linked to the coin inside the plunger, allowing it to be switched between open and closed.
