1968 Hofner 459TZ Sunburst
1968 Hofner 459TZ in excellent condition. This guitar is from the collection of Jason Newsted of Metallica fame, among others. Spruce top, maple body, 3-piece maple neck, bound rosewood fingerboard, two single coil hofner pickups, built in treble boost and fuzz circuitry, and a sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Neck is 1 11/16" wide at the nut, profile is 0.91" at the 1st fret, 1.07 at the 12th fret. Weight is 5.12lbs. Comes with the original hardshell case and a signed COA from Jason Newsted.
