~1980 Hondo Deluxe Series 760

This 1980s Hondo Deluxe Series 760 is in very good cosmetic condition showing moderate signs of play wear throughout (see photos). The neck profile is a pretty chunky D shape and feels comfortable in hand. The frets on this guitar are in great shape and have tons of life left. This instrument plays good up down the fingerboard. The electronics are fully original and are fully functional. The pickups have a bright, clear tone and have a really funky “quack” in the 2 and 4 positions. The finish on this guitar is pretty great looking and is what I would call “nicotine yellow” which pairs great with the tortoiseshell grain pickguard. The neck plate is a replacement with one flathead screw for good measure. This Hondo also has a pretty righteous kiss sticker on the top that I’ve decided should stay on it because it truly rounds out the vibe of this 760. This guitar weighs 8lb 10oz.
