Description

Here is a 1977 Ibanez 2457. The 2457 was Ibanez's Lawsuit Time Period take on a Gibson ES-355. The model featured many of the high end features of the 355 including a Set Neck, Semi-Hollow Construction, Gold Hardware, Bound Neck & Headstock, Inlayed Headstock, Stereo Electronics, and a Varitone. The guitar is powered by two Super 70 pickups. Very Good Vintage condition with some nicks, dings, and scratches. Newer pickguard, bridge, knobs, and chrome tremolo arm. The 6 position Varitone adds additional tonal options with a fifth position standby setting. The binding has held up remarkably well with a blemish on the top binding at the treble side lower bout. Included is an aftermarket hardshell case. A great opportunity on a hard to find Ibanez 2457.
