Description
Summary: The AF75TDG is an Artcore series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2008. The AF75TDG features a full-hollow body design with a laminated maple top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on maple back and sides with a single Venetian cutaway mated to a set-in mahogany neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and acrylic block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Artcore humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls, an ART-2 roller bridge on a wooden base, a vintage-style vibrato tailpiece, a plastic nut, an ivory pickguard, Sure Grip III knobs, and Ibanez diecast tuning machines with pearloid half-moon buttons.
Body: Laminated Maple top/back/sides finished in a gloss White.
Neck: Mahogany with a bound Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 43mm nut, 22 frets, pearl block inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Two Ibanez Artcore humbuckers, two volume/two tone controls/3-way pickup selector, ART-2 roller bridge with a VBF70 vintage style tremolo tailpiece, pearloid acrylic half-moon buttons tuning keys.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition. It has very light surface scratches on the body throughout that can be seen in reflections. The gold hardware has tarnished slightly. The back of the neck is clean and smooth, and the frets are in great shape. The pickguard has been removed and you can see the holes where it used to be.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
