The AFC155 features a thick, single cutaway, full-hollow body design with a laminated spruce top with ƒ holes and flamed maple binding and flamed maple back and sides mated to a set-in mahogany and maple neck with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard with black binding and mother of pearl offset block position markers. Components include dual, floating Ibanez Magic Touch-Mini humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls, a floating ebony bridge with compensated ebony saddle and a trapeze tailpiece with a wooden cover, a plastic nut, a black pickguard, rosewood bell knobs and Ibanez tuning machines with black buttons.

Spruce top/Maple back & sides body
As well as providing its stylish appearance these features help provide a balanced tone and with the addition of plywood top, help to avoid unnecessary feedback.

Ebony fretboard w/ Artstar fret edge treatment
The Ebony fretboard with Artstar fret edge treatment provides tight response and smooth left-hand fingering.

Ebony bridge
The rock solid Ebony compensated bridge give the output a clear intonation, longer sustain and acoustic resonance.

Magic Touch-Mini pickup
The Ibanez custom made Magic Touch-Mini humbucker pickup provides a balance of classic tones, alongside clear articulation on both the top and bottom of the sound spectrum. Players can enjoy the clean response on the top end, presenting fast melodies or complex chord progressions with clarity and precision.

Floating pickup
Thanks to floating mount, the "Magic Touch-Mini" pickups do not dampen the guitars natural body vibration, thus allowing a bigger richer acoustic tone.
