Up for sale is an amazing and rare first generation 1976 Ibanez Destroyer in its original natural finish. Built in 1976, this instrument was a super high-end replica of the original and famed late 1950s Gibson Korina Explorer. Although the Destroyer is not built with Korina, it looks every bit as good. The original Ibanez “Super 70s” pickups were replaced with a fabulous sounding set of desirable 1980s era Ibanez Super 80s Flying Fingers Butterfly pickups which sound as good as the originals. The tuners are Grovers which replaced the Star tuners and there is a filled toggle hole on the Pickguard. Killer wood grain on the body, and a slim neck profile. Overall in very good condition less some dings, dents and play wear. Pro setup in-house and comes complete with its well worn and falling apart original hardshell case.
