1990 Ibanez GB-12 George Benson 12th Anniversary Signature Model - Brown Sunburst
We've got a very special Ibanez from 1990 in the shop! This George Benson GB-12 was the 12th Anniversary Signature guitar that Ibanez made to commemorate 12 years making signature guitars for Benson. They were built in Japan by FujiGen and were discontinued in 1992. The GB-12 features a beautiful Laminated Flame Maple body, 3 piece neck of Mahogany and Maple, decorative pearl inlays, and is 1/2 inch thicker than the GB10. Each model was numbered and signed by George Benson, this is number 311.
When it comes to jazz guitar, George Benson is the king! This guitar has a wonderful round warm tone and is setup perfectly. This came in to the shop on consignment from the original owner, who bought this new in the 90s. It is strung with flatwound strings and comes with the original tuning machine heads. It shows very little play wear was well cared for. No buckle rash and the frets are original and in excellent condition.

Orders to Hawaii or Alaska will incur an additional shipping charge. Overnight, 2-Day, and Express shipping is available for an additional fee. RETURN POLICY - At Distinctive Guitar customer satisfaction is our top priority. We are happy to offer you a 48hr approval period on all orders (excludes custom orders and layaways). Return arrangements must be made within 48 hours of receipt and must be authorized by Distinctive Guitar prior to shipment. Refunds on approved returns will be made in-full less shipping costs both ways and applicable credit card fees. Feel free to use your refund in-full on another "In Stock Item". In limited circumstances, returns outside the 48 hour approval window may be considered but are subject to a 15% re-stocking fee. Trades are considered final sale due to the large amount of shipping fees and risk associated with a trade transaction. We are happy to discuss approval prior to trading if required. Sale, clearance, demo, and NOS items are considered final sale and no refunds or returns are allowed on these items.
