The road star series was a great run of affordable guitars and basses from the 80s. Everything you need from a bass at an affordable price! Killer made in Japan bass!
Specs! Velve-tune BII tuners. Brass trust rod cover. Nut measures 1-5/8″. Maple neck with a depth measuring .80″ at the first fret and .95″ at the 12th fret. The scale length is 34″. Rosewood fingerboard with a radius of 12″. Action measures 6/64ths straight across. 24 jumbo frets in good condition. Body is made of basswood finished in black. The finish is a bit cloudy. There is a scratch on the upper bout. The picks are a super P5S and a super J5S. All original wiring. “Accu-cast” bridge. Comes with its original hard shell case. Weighs 8 pounds and 4 ounces.
We love a good MIJ instrument. Ibanez always done a great job especially when it comes to there MIJ guitars. Between the to Super pick ups you have tons of versatility. Dial in your classic bass tons with a bit of modern edge. Great round warm bass notes with plenty of bouncy articulate treble in the the mid range and up. Im defiantly a sucker for a good Ibanez!
