Summary: The RG is the most recognizable and distinctive guitar in the Ibanez line. Three decades of metal have forged this high-performance machine, honing it for both speed and strength. This particular Ibanez has an Ibanez Lo-TRS II locking tremolo system & it has been fully set up with a new set of 10’s. Made in Korea at the Cort factory from around 1998-2002.

Body: Basswood body finished in “Jewel Blue”.

Neck: Wizard II maple neck with a 24- jumbo fret bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid shark-tooth position markers. Nut width- 1 11/16” Scale length-25 ½”

Pickups/Hardware: Black hardware, Ibanez Powersound Humbucking Pickups and a Lo TRS II double locking tremolo bridge. It has a 5-way switch, one volume knob and one tone knob.

Cosmetics: This guitar has minor scratches and scuffs throughout the body. Especially on the front of the guitar which shows a fair amount of pick scratches. There are a couple of dings on the back, exposing the wood underneath and some fretwear.

Playability: We have come to expect a fast playing guitar worthy of shredding from the Ibanez RG series and this guitar is no exception. It plays with great ease and comfort up and down the neck. The action has been set low by our in house luthier and it’s been strung up with a new set of 10’s.
