"Maxon OD-9"の海外輸出版で、基本的な仕様は同じになります。本機は、1983年頃製白ラベル仕様で、オペアンプに"TA75558P"を搭載していた個体を1983年製"JRC4558D(艶有)"に変更したモディファイ品となっています。同年代の変更ですので特に違和感は全くありません。原音を崩すことなく、サウンドに絶妙に豊かなハーモニクスと心地よいコンプレッションを与えてくれます。豊かな倍音、中域の押し出し、レンジ感共々素晴らしく艷やかで張りのあるサウンドはTS9の特筆すべき魅力だと思います。
