GTR/BASSのレンジ切換えとワウの深さを調節するDEPTHコントロールを装備。グレーの前期モデルです。GTRレンジはかなり高域よりでソロプレイ向き、BASSレンジにするとレンジが1オクターブ下がりますので、ベースは元よりギターでもリフワークなどに威力を発揮します。ブースト時の底から湧き出るような音の厚みや音の艶は現行モデルとは違ってなかなか色気があります。 ただ一つ欠点と言えるのはプラスティック製の華奢な筐体なのでON/OFFの際には十分ご注意を。反面、この軽さとコンパクトさは持ち運びやボードにセッティングする際にとても有利です。V2〜V3と継承されていきますが、サウンド面では未だに絶大な人気を誇る貴重なV1オリジナルバージョンの個体です。
