Some how we got another uke! For your consideration a 1920s J.R Stewart Le Domino Banjo Ukulele! We’ve got a soft spot in our heart for these old J.R Stewart instruments with the Le Domino decals. Probably because our home town hero Elliott Smith famously played one his first record! For something almost 100 years old this little banjo ukulele is in very good condition! The decals are still quite clean it even has its original soft shell case!
Specs! Mechanical friction tuners. Plastic nut measures 1-5/16″. Birch neck with a 11.5″ scale length. Original 17 small frets are in good condition. 7″ skin head. Birch body finished in black. Wood bridge. Comes with its original soft shell case. Weighs 2 pounds and 4 ounces.
What a cool part of American music history! This small little ukulele as a fun and unique sound from a bygone era! Would make a great addition to anyones Le Domino collection. A really cool piece thats almost 100 years old!
