2003 John F Mello Guitar

I have known John Mello now for 30 years. This is the first opportunity I have had to represent one of his fine guitars. John is a world class craftsman known and respected here in the Bay Area and beyond. His guitars are of the highest quality and do not often change hands. This guitar is serial number 54 and was completed in the year 2003. The back and sides are dark Brazilian rosewood and the top is spruce. The width at the nut is two inches wide and the fingerboard is ebony. The body is 14 1/4 wide at the lower bout and the body depth is 3 1/2 inches. There is some finish worn off the heel from a strap it seems and there is some normal wear but no cracks or repairs. This is a unique instrument with a very deep tone.
