Since around 1970, Yairi Guitar has been committed to handcrafted production by a small number of elite craftsmen and has released many famous models to the world.
The company offers a wide range of products, from beginner and intermediate acoustic guitars to custom-ordered products.

This DY-CUSTOM was made in 2013.
It has a spruce top, rosewood side back, ebony fretboard and bridge, and is based on the D-28, but with an Avalon rosette to give it a high-end feel.
The neck shape is a soft V-shape, a little gentler than the original Martin, so even those who are not comfortable with V-shapes can easily get used to it.

The sound impression is quite different from that of a Japanese-made guitar.
The low, mid, and high frequencies are all output softly and in perfect balance.
The sound pressure is also strong, but the fact that it does not sound like an annoying noise even when hard picking is performed is quite favorable.

Picking is also very good, so it feels comfortable as if you are playing a high-end acoustic.
I think this is a very lucky one.

The satin finish has a little bit of paint lift, but there are no problems when playing.
The pegs have been replaced with Gotoh 510s, and the gold color of the satin finish is a perfect match.

[Condition/Modifications]
- The neck and wood have been thoroughly inspected by a craftsman specializing in acoustic guitars and no repairs are needed.
- The neck is straight and free of any chattering or sound clogging issues.
- String height on the 12th fret: 2.5mm on the 6th string side, 2.0mm on the 1st string side.
- Saddle protrusion: approx. 2mm
- Nut/saddle/peg replacement
- End pin section extension/end pin replacement available
