K. Yairi LEO-J2 1979 MIJ Natural Vintage Made in Japan w/ OHSC

The LEO-J2 is a super rare and hard to find made in Japan acoustic guitar! This one is from 1979 and has the K. Yairi signature etched into the body. K. Yairi was a world renowned luthier known for his excellent craftsmanship. Beautiful instrument!

This guitar does show a few signs of cosmetic wear from over the years. The body has various scratches and dents on the front, back, and sides of the guitar. Particularly, the bottom of the body near the strap button has some significant chips and dents that happened during shipping. The white binding around the body, neck, and headstock have yellowed over time and the K. Yairi logo on the back of the tuning keys also shows some discoloration. The back of the high e tuning key is missing, leaving the gear exposed. The top of the headstock has some normal scuffs and dings as well. The frets are used but still have plenty of life and the action is on the higher side -- about .13'' at the 12th fret. 

The screw on the low E tuning peg has been replaced and the back covering of the tuning peg on the high E is missing so the tuning gear is exposed. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
