The Kala Concert Banjo Ukulele is patterned after banjolele from the 1920s and 1930s — the height of the instrument's popularity. The Banjo Uke is made from a five-ply maple back and shell, with a Remo Weatherking head, producing a loud and resounding projection. Brass hardware lines the body and headstock, while a set of open gear vintage tuners add for the classic aesthetic.
This banjo comes with a set mahogany neck, boasting a soft V-profile and a walnut fingerboard for comfortable and easy playability. A cream binding surrounds the fingerboard, while a bone nut and a maple/ebony cap saddle adds for vintage-spec appointments.
