1940 kay jumbo

Here we have a great 1940s kay craftsman jumbo that has been converted to rear shifted X braced. X brace is 1/4 scalloped along with 1/4 scallop tone bars, and appropriate sized head, brace and side supports with small maple bridge plate. top has also been re- voiced when was removed from its rim. The top has also had lots of top cracks that have been fixed when the top was removed from the instrument. The guitar has also recently had a neck reset along with a complete re fret with 6105 frets. the guitar has also had a small heal repair that was done sometime ago that has been recently re-corrected along with a new bone nut and saddle with ebony replacement bridge. The guitar plays great geometry is spot on action is wonderful. This guitar may look beat but plays and sounds fantastic. The tuners are aftermarket . The guitar has lots of nicks chips dings dent and superficial blemishes all over it as you will notice from the photos that i have provieded. The guitar comes with a aftermarket case.
