Description

In the world of off-beat guitars you just can't beat the Japanese guitars of the 1960's. They took everything up a notch stylistically. This one is unbranded but it is probably a Kingston, Kawai or Teisco. It not only has a scratchplate, but a second one done up in mirrored chrome. Not two pickups, or three, but four. These companies also excelled at making the biggest headstocks of all time, and we love it. The electronics all work but as is the case with all these guitars the switches are a little touchy and the pickups a little microphonic so this is not for hi-gain situations. As long as you're familiar with the limitations of guitars of this kind you'll love this one and it will make a great addition to your guitar arsenal. Please note that the trem bar in the photos is not included as someone stole it. Bunch of savages in this town.
