The Holy Grail of overdrive pedals! The original version with it's germanium clipping diodes , heralded as the most transparent overdrive. It doesn't color your amp and guitar tone the way other pedals will, it enhances it and pushes it harder.
For those that don't know, the epoxy is supposed to be there on the circuit board. It was an attempt from the designer to prevent people from cloning his circuit.
If you are going to be using the Klon with a power supply it needs a pin-style adapter. One is included (minus cable) but you can use the pin adapters from Voodoo Labs and similar power supplies.
