Last year we were lucky to get our hands on the first limited run and they sold out fast. This year Steve went back to Knaggs and took his signature model to the next level with a few modifications and three all new finishes.
Grammy-Award winning Virtuoso and long time Billy Idol collaborator Steve Stevens and Knaggs Guitars proudly announce the Steve Stevens Signature model SS2. Tailored to Steve’s specs and preferences, it will accompany the legendary guitarist on Billy Idol’s 2015 World tour.
Limited to only 100 instruments the SS2 features a Mahogany body with carved Maple top, custom SS neck carve, Rosewood finger board with Mother-of-Pearl inlays, Ray gun head stock inlay and Signature Bare Knuckle pickups with engraved Ray guns not available in any other guitar. Each instrument comes with an exclusive Certificate outlining specs and serial-number (1-100) and will be hand signed by Steve and team Knaggs. A black form fit case completes this limited run offering.
Steve Stevens said: “I believe there is a soul and energy to a guitar well beyond the materials used. There is musical karma. My over 30 year friendship with Peter Wolf laid the basis of building the guitar of my dreams. I then put that dream into the hands of Joe Knaggs, who I feel is the absolute best guitar builder/designer out there today. The fact that my guitar is available to the public is extremely cool, but honestly I’d play this instrument no matter whose name was on it. It truly is magic”.

DOMESTIC (CONUS) - All orders within the contiguous USA SHIP FREE and fast direct to you via FedEx Ground. Guitars are always shipped with signature required. Orders to Hawaii or Alaska will incur an additional shipping charge. Overnight, 2-Day, and Express shipping is available for an additional fee. INTERNATIONAL - International shipping is available on all orders. Shipping charges are calculated at checkout. Customs duties are the responsibility of the buyer.
RETURN POLICY - At Distinctive Guitar customer satisfaction is our top priority. We are happy to offer you a 48hr approval period on all orders (excludes custom orders and layaways). Return arrangements must be made within 48 hours of receipt and must be authorized by Distinctive Guitar prior to shipment. Refunds on approved returns will be made in-full less shipping costs both ways and applicable credit card fees. Feel free to use your refund in-full on another "In Stock Item". In limited circumstances, returns outside the 48 hour approval window may be considered but are subject to a 15% re-stocking fee. Trades are considered final sale due to the large amount of shipping fees and risk associated with a trade transaction. We are happy to discuss approval prior to trading if required. Sale, clearance, demo, and NOS items are considered final sale and no refunds or returns are allowed on these items. All orders must be returned in the condition they were originally shipped within 5 business days after return approval.
