If you want an amazing playing guitar, start with 80's guitars. Expectations and demands had never been higher and manufacturers had no choice but to step up and make the best guitars they could. Often, the best guitar on the rack was a Kramer. This was a well gigged guitar so there are paint blems here and here including the little stress cracks around the neck pocket and on the back of the head by the bolts that held on the locking nut that they all seem to have these days. They have been inspected and are solid. This 601 is in good playing shape. Tall frets, fast and thin neck. Little bit of weight to it, definitely no basswood here.
